What to know before you begin
What kinds of projects can I finance?
Financing may be available for eligible kitchen and bathroom remodels, restoration work, generator and battery systems, panel upgrades, EV charging and other home improvements. Eligibility depends on the lender and your application.
Will checking my options affect my credit score?
Checking prequalified offers uses a soft credit inquiry and does not affect your score. A lender may make a hard credit inquiry if you choose to move forward with an offer, which could affect your score.
How much can I borrow and for how long?
Acorn’s homeowner information lists loan amounts from $1,000 to $100,000 and terms from 2 to 20 years. Available amounts, rates, terms and fees depend on your qualifications and the offers you receive.
Am I guaranteed approval or a specific monthly payment?
No. Prequalification is not final approval. Each participating lender decides eligibility and terms. Review the full offer and total borrowing cost before accepting.
Do I apply with AI Builders or AI Network?
No. Our link takes you to Acorn Finance to check offers from participating lenders. The lender handles the application and financing decision; we provide the project estimate and perform the contracted work.
Can I talk with you before checking financing?
Yes. Tell us about the work you are considering and we can prepare a project scope and estimate. You can explore financing before or after discussing your project with us.
